CLIMBING & HIKING TOUR
Experience the thrill of rock climbing at Tafelberg, one of Curaçao’s most stunning natural sites. Your adventure begins at the basement, where participants meet 20 minutes before the hike to complete waivers and receive group bracelets. Each participant is equipped with a headlamp for the descent after sunset. The hike starts promptly, leading you through scenic trails with scheduled water breaks to keep you refreshed along the way.
The climb to Tafelberg is a rewarding challenge, suitable for those with a basic level of fitness. Covering 8.5 km (5.3 miles) and taking around 3 to 3.5 hours, the trail offers a mix of terrains, some more demanding than others, but all providing spectacular views. The hike is timed to ensure you reach the summit just before sunset, where the lookout point delivers breathtaking vistas over the Spanish Water bay, making the journey well worth the effort.
As night falls, the descent begins along a different route, adding an extra layer of adventure as you navigate under the stars with your headlamps. This experience blends the excitement of rock climbing with the peacefulness of nature, offering an unforgettable way to explore Curaçao’s natural beauty.
